To follow up the application of human rights standards in the community, a meeting was held with the director of the Kirkuk office of the Independent High Commission for Human Rights, during which the following topics were discussed:
- The extent of the application of system No. 2 of 2009 regarding the employment of local manpower with foreign investment companies operating in Iraq.
- Finding ways to reduce unemployment in Iraq among youth, as well as supporting our NIHR to strengthen the mechanisms followed with the legislative authority in the Iraqi parliament.
- Focusing efforts for the purpose of collecting the signatures of stakeholders in order to increase the percentage of women to work in the community police in Iraq.
- Formation of a joint committee consisting of members of the Women Advisory Board/ Kirkuk supported by NIHR and staff of the Office of the Commission to conduct periodic field visits to the foreign company tasked with building 44 model schools in Kirkuk to follow up on the extent to which standards relating to human rights and workers are applied and the extent to which a suitable model educational environment is provided for students.\https://instagram.com/national_institute_for_h.r?igshid=YmMyMTA2M2Y=(20+) المعهد الوطني لحقوق الانسان | Facebook
