Drawing up local policies has a positive impact on working with decision makers in government institutions.
In order to enhance the participation of women in developing these policies, training workshops were held in the NIHR office in Kirkuk Governorate to develop the cognitive, skill and behavioral capabilities of members of the Advisory Board for Women in the Kirkuk and Ninawa Governorates, which operates under the supervision of the National Democratic Institute (NDI) and is funded by the Canadian government.
