Many reasons made the failure the fate of the projects of the German company Siemens in Iraq, which are related to electric power, and among those reasons was Iraq’s dependence on foreign sanctioned companies affiliated to sanctioned countries and Siemens’ refusal to deal with them, as well as negligence, administrative and financial corruption, and lack of seriousness in work on the part of the Iraqi government institutions related to the success of the projects, in addition to the lack of good training and lack of skills acquisition for the staff sent to Germany, because some of them are not related to the operation and maintenance of the stations. iraq today
