Young people can play a leading role in promoting belonging and citizenship, and in order to enable young people to perform this role, they were involved in a training workshop held by NIHR in Daquq District to develop their cognitive and behavioral capacities on belonging and citizenship within Adolescents and Young People Renounce Violent Extremism project, so that they are able to identify their needs and gain the support of decision-makers in and around their regions.
