The national Institute for Human Rights campaigns for advocacy by gathering

signatures to attain some demands that would alleviate suffering and the challenges

facing them in society as well as activating their role as active citizens in building the

new Iraqi society and attain public demands for every citizen in a democratic Iraq

must take course and the right guaranteed by the Constitution regarding freedom of

opinion and expression and the fateful decisions of public affairs , And also had a

great historical role in voting on the Constitution and referendum, so they have the

right to opinion and demand the activation of some articles that make their role non-

less important than other people in the public interest foremost and interest of this

segment in particular by granting them their rights contained in the international

conventions and the Declaration on the rights of persons with disabilities according to

article (32) of the Iraqi Constitution, which states that (the country most take care of

persons with disabilities and people with special needs and ensure their rehabilitation

in order to reintegrate them into society and organized by law), to achieve the

following rights:

Establish a national body in the Parliament for the disabled and the handicapped with the

following duties:

a. Giving special privileges to persons with disabilities such as providing housing and
